Corporate Controller

Job Details

The Corporate Controller position will report directly to the CEO and have the responsibility to lead the accounting department. This position ensures that the fiscal functions of the corporation are performed in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and other applicable guidelines, regulations and laws. The controller acts as the lead on many financial matters to the leadership team. Work requires a high degree of independent judgment and is highly variable and complex, requiring interpretation of needs, guidelines, policies, procedures and precedents. In this position the person will have extensive contacts throughout the organization from peers to executives. This position supervises exempt and non-exempt staff.
