Roadway Lineperson

MetroExpress Services has become the New York metropolitan area’s foremost provider of Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) services. We provide MPT services for engineering firms, public utilities, DOT, and other contractors throughout the New York metropolitan region. We are seeking an experienced Roadway Markings Lineperson in the division.

Job Responsibilities

Ideal candidate will be able to perform all of the following functions.

• Remove, lay down and stripe the roadway lines using Thermoplastic materials for work with the NYC DOT with hand liner striping machine equipment.
• Familiar with kettle trucks and other roadway marking equipment.

Qualifications

• Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Familiar with DOT line striping and thermoplastic materials.
